Use a prompt with four parts

A dependable business-photo instruction usually contains four parts: the subject to protect, the change you want, the intended destination, and a quality boundary. This makes the result easier to judge than a vague request such as make it professional.

  1. Protect: Name the details that must remain recognizable and unchanged.
  2. Change: Describe lighting, background, crop, mood, or presentation.
  3. Destination: State whether the image is for a store grid, menu, listing, or social post.
  4. Boundary: Ask for realistic treatment and no invented subject details.

Product photo prompt

Keep the exact product, logo, label text, colour, material, proportions, and packaging details recognizable. Replace the distracting background with a clean warm-white studio surface, use balanced soft lighting and a realistic contact shadow, centre the item for an online store grid, and do not add or remove product features.

For reflective, transparent, or highly detailed products, mention that property explicitly. Always check text, ports, stitching, quantities, colour, and edges against the original.

Food photo prompt

Keep the exact dish, ingredients, portion size, garnish, plate, and food colour recognizable. Improve neutral lighting, texture clarity, and natural contrast, simplify the table background, retain realistic shadows, and compose the image for a restaurant menu without adding ingredients or changing the plating.

Review meat doneness, ingredient visibility, portion size, steam, garnish, and plate shape. The image should represent what a customer can actually order.

Property photo prompt

Keep the room layout, doors, windows, fixtures, furniture, view, materials, and proportions visually unchanged. Correct white balance, gently lift dark shadows, preserve natural window light and realistic texture, straighten the presentation where possible, and create a clean property-listing image without structural changes.

Check every permanent feature, the view, condition, perspective, and signs of invented space. Use appropriate disclosure for changes that go beyond basic enhancement.

Social media photo prompt

Keep the people, product, clothing, logo, and important brand details recognizable. Create a clean, modern campaign treatment with balanced contrast, natural skin and product colour, subtle depth, and visual space for a portrait social crop. Do not invent text, logos, accessories, or product features.

State the channel and crop when composition matters, but preview the final image inside the platform or scheduling tool before publishing.

Batch prompt

Apply one consistent visual direction across this related image set: preserve each subject and its unique details, use the same neutral background family, balanced soft lighting, realistic shadows, and comparable framing. Do not force identical crops when subject proportions differ.

Test this direction on two or three representative images before using a full Premium batch. Related images respond more consistently than a mixed collection.

How to improve a weak first result

Change one variable at a time. If colour is wrong, reinforce the colour boundary. If the composition is poor, specify the destination crop. If the model changes details, shorten the creative language and list the protected features first. Keep the original beside the result so improvement is measured against accuracy, not just visual impact.

Prompt review checklist

  • The protected details appear before creative styling.
  • The instruction has one main visual goal.
  • The destination and crop are clear when relevant.
  • The prompt avoids unsupported performance claims such as more sales or engagement.
  • The result is compared with the original at full size.
  • Inaccurate outputs are rejected rather than published.
